Happy (Late) Valentine's Day, Kenzo

My Dearest Kenzo:

I realize I’m a few days late for Valentine’s Day, but I had to wait until the coast was cl…….. for the opportunity to procure a costume for my little presentation to you. As you know, it’s pretty risky to sneak…. I mean to enter the wardrobe department when Dolores is in. I had to wait until her day off, which was today.

But I had my eye on this baby and didn’t want to settle for less. It’s really….um…. red, isn’t it?

Anyway, Dolores has this sixth sense when someone puts on one of her costumes and I expect her to barge in any minute, day off or not….…. so here goes….

*ahem*
O, my love is like a red, red rose
That’s newly sprung in June…

O, my love is like the melodie
that’s sweetly play’d in tune;
(that line’s just perfect for you, Kenzo.)

‘Til all the seas go dry, my Dear,
And the rocks melt wi’ the sun!
O I will love thee still, my Dear,
While the sands o’ life shall run.

So, what did you think?

*giggles*

Yeah, me too. It’s no Watusi, that’s for sure!
Kaida’s gown acquired from my good friend Carol in NJ, wig from Antina’s (a long time ago) and the poem of course, was “My Love Is Like a Red, Red Rose” by Robert Burns.
