Kenzo: Ummm…. Kaida?
Kaida: What?
Kenzo: I think Cupid can take a permanent vacation now.
Kaida: What do you mean?
Kenzo: Look.
Kaida: Wow….. oh wow.
Kenzo: Hey, we should leave them alone. It’s not very considerate to be the audience when they’re not the ones on stage.
Kaida: This is gonna be a great Christmas!
Kenzo: Shhhhhhh!
Asher: It’s ok you two, you can come on out.
Kaida: Drat – you heard us. Don’t you want some more “alone time?”
Kohana: Maybe later…. Have you two… finished? I heard a little of your playing, Kenzo. You have a wonderful talent.
Kenzo: Thanks. I wanted it to be just right, for Kaida.
Kohana: I do have to admit I was very concerned about how serious you two seem to be getting… but someone really wise and level-headed advised me to trust you, and I have decided I should take that advice… However….
Kaida: Oh boy, there’s always a “however.” Here it comes.
Kohana: I just want to hear directly from both of you that my trust will not be misplaced.
Kaida: You can trust me, Aneko.
Kenzo: Yes, you can. You can trust both of us.
Kohana: Thank you. And thanks for putting up with my “bossy big sister stuff”, as Kaida likes to call it. Kenzo, I really am glad you could spend this time with us. Kaida, if you’re ready to leave, why don’t you two wait in the car for me? I’ll be right there.
Kohana: Asher, thank you - again. You probably kept me from making a big mistake with my sister. It really does mean a lot to me that…
Asher: So.....you sent them out to wait so you could say “thank you? ”
Kohana: Well…yes…. I thought…
Asher: Are you sure that’s all you wanted?
Kohana: Yes….No! I… I really think…
Asher: If you have to keep thinking…………… think about that.
Kohana: Oh, I am….I will….. um…. bye………..…I’ll see you…
Asher: You will see me – and it will be soon. Christmas, remember?
Kohana: How could I forget? I have so much to do, and I think I’ve lost my lists!
