Eron: What the heck, Eli, you been here all nigh…..? Oh -- sorry.

Eron: (whispering) Yo, Bro, wake up.

Eli: Cripes, am I sore. What time is it?
Eron: Goin’ on eight. You guys must’ve been zonked.
Eli: Yeah, Tiny here passed out during the game and I guess I followed. What happened to the TV and the snacks?
Eron: I think Asher must have put it all away. You didn’t even wake up when he rolled the TV out?

Eli: Guess not.
Eron: Well, sorry to wake you, but I wanted to tell you – I’m working extra this weekend so you guys have the place to yourselves again today. And if you get hungry and don’t mind eating my cooking, there are leftovers in the fridge.
Eli: Gotcha………….and thanks.

Eron: You um…. you really love her, don’t you?
Eli: A girl who’d watch football with me? Are you kidding? I’d be nuts not to. They don’t come around like Cassandra very often, Bro – opportunity’s like football - ya gotta know when to run with the ball.
Eron: Yeah….. opportunities. I’m glad you took yours and ran with it.

Eron: (quietly) Someday maybe I’ll be ready to run with one when it comes my way.

Eli: Don’t worry about being ready. Readiness is overrated.

Eron: Maybe it is.
