Kaida: I didn’t know you actually made a lot of these cool costumes. I thought you just like guarded them or something.
Dolores: Making them saves the theater a lot of money.
Kaida: Do the owners appreciate it, when you save them money like that?
Dolores: Yes, I believe so.
Kaida: How many owners are we talking here, do you know?
Dolores: One.
Kaida: There’s only one owner?
Dolores: Does anyone ever tell you that you ask too many questions?
Kaida: Yep, all the time. But how else am I gonna find stuff out?
Dolores: Good point.
Kaida: So this guy that owns the theater…..
Dolores: How do you know it’s a man?
Kaida: Dunno – just assumed, I guess. So is it?
Dolores: A man? Yes, the owner is a man. What was your first question?
Kaida: I was wondering if he was any relation to the original owner – you know, that lady in the portrait that hangs in the lobby.
Dolores: I don’t believe so; I believe the Morgan family sold all interest in this theater decades ago. At least that’s what I’ve heard.
Kaida: Where do you hear this stuff?
Dolores: Miss Sasaki, are you trying to get out of working today?
Kaida: No – why do you ask that?
Dolores: Because of these infernal, incessant, insistent questions. You are guessing I’ll get tired of answering, then I’ll become tired of listening, then I’m likely send you home so I can have some peace and quiet.
Kaida: Well…. actually….
Dolores: Hmph! I thought so.
Kaida: No, it was last time I worked for you that I thought about trying that. But I changed my mind; it’s only right that I go ahead and do what I’m supposed to do. I don’t mind working, as long as it’s not the same thing every hour of every day. That would drive me nuts.
Dolores: I find your attitude to be highly unusual.
Kaida: Oh…. Sorry.
Dolores: I didn’t mean that as a reprimand.
Kaida: Really? What did you mean?
Dolores: I suppose I meant…. that I approve.
Kaida: Yeah? Does that mean I get off early for good behavior?
Dolores: No, you may not!
Kaida: Just kidding!
