Jeremiah: That wasn’t so bad after all, Bro.
Ben: Nope, not bad at all.
Jeremiah: In fact, it was kinda fun, so I tell ya what I’m gonna do; I’m gonna let you off the hook – you don’t have to pay us.
Asher: I said something about paying you?
Ben: Whoa, whoa, whoa…… hold up there, Jare.
Ben: When did he mention paying us?
Jeremiah: He said he’d make it worth our while, remember?
Asher: I appreciate your generosity in offering to forego compensation, Jeremiah, but considering how much ice cream you guys put away…
Asher: ….and after overhearing at least one of you bragging that he had a date for New Year’s Eve……. I figure the least you could do is handle KP duty.
Ben: He’s got us there, Jare.
Jeremiah: *grumble grumble*
Asher: Oh, Ben, I keep forgetting. Kohana wanted me to ask if you and your Mom might want to come over to her house for Christmas dinner.
Ben: Thanks for asking, but I think Mom made plans to go to one of her cousin’s.
Asher: That’s good. Best to be with your family, then.
Jeremiah: *muttering* That depends on the family. Some of us have cruel, overbearing brothers.
Ben: Oh, put a sock in it, Bennett.
Asher: Don’t forget to refrigerate the leftovers, if there are any. *mostly to himself* What the heck is this on my head?
