Kohana: I would have too easily let you leave. But I guess I wasn’t meant to get much done tonight.
Asher: Well, if you really need to study, I could still leave. Now that you’ve had your say, there’s no reason for me to stick around…
Kohana: Oh, you’re not going anywhere, Asher. The schoolwork can wait.
Asher: It sure can. It’s my turn….no, our turn now.
Kohana: Yes, it is. For approximately (looks at clock) twenty minutes or so. Then Kaida will descend on us and there will be no more privacy, I’m afraid.
Asher: I’ll take what I can get. Kohana……..?
Kohana: Yes, Asher?
Asher: You do know I meant what I said to you the day after Valentine’s Day, don’t you?
Kohana: Oh, I don’t know - that was such a long time ago. What was it you said again?
Asher: Why you sassy little….. shame on you for teasing me at a time like this. You know what I’m talking about.
Kohana: I seem to be inexplicably forgetful tonight. Why don’t you repeat it for me?

Asher: The only good thing about waiting so long for you to come to your senses…

Asher: The only good thing about all that wait time is that it’s over now. It is, right? You’re not going to make me wait even longer to hear you say it out loud, are you?
