Kohana: I wasn’t telling the truth just now, Asher.
Asher: Confession is good for the soul, Kohana.

Kohana: I know. But it’s hard on the pride. I….had something to say but I lost my nerve. So I pretended to forget what it was.
Asher: Knew you weren’t really that absent-minded. Want to tell me now?

Kohana: Yes, I do, but I ……….can’t.
Asher: You sound so serious – is something wrong?
Kohana: Not really – but I’m mad at myself for being so silly about this.

Asher: Aw, don’t be mad at my favorite girl. She’s shown great progress in lightening up lately.
Kohana: Maybe she’s still too serious about a lot of things.
Asher: Maybe I’m okay with that.

Kohana: Maybe she’s pretty annoyed with herself.
Asher: Maybe she is way too hard on herself.
Kohana: Maybe she’ll never be able to say it.
Asher: Maybe if she looked someplace besides at the audience? Would that help?

Kohana: Maybe. (she turns her back) Asher, I………no, this isn’t going to work either.
Asher: It’s obviously something important or it wouldn’t upset you so much.

Kohana: I’m not upset, just really frustrated. But you’re right – it is important. And very hard to get out for some strange reason.
Asher: Here, try this…..
Kohana: Write it down?
Asher: Yeah, just write it, fast as you can, then hand me the paper. Don’t think about it too much, just write. Go on.
