Kaida’s Surprise, Part One
Kohana: Asher, I wonder if you could help me with something?
Asher: Sure, what can I do for you?
Kohana: Well, it’s not for me, specifically – It’s something I want to do for Kaida. I want to give her an early Christmas present. I just need a way to distract her so I can bring it in. Can you help?
Asher: Sure, be glad to. Whenever you’re ready.
Kohana: Good, here is what I need you to do….
Asher: Oho, she’s going to be surprised all right!
Kohana: Won’t she though?
Asher: Hey Kaida, go help Pete out in the sound booth for a bit, ok?
Kaida: He said he doesn’t need anything today.
Asher: I think he changed his mind – go see what he wants.
Kaida: Okay, all right, I’m going!
Asher: OK, coast is clear. You can come in now….
Kohana: Are you sure she’s occupied?
Asher: Yeah, and grumbling away.
Kohana: Something tells me she won’t be grumbling long though!
Asher: Nope, I think you’re going to get her good this time.
Kohana: OK, where should I put her “present?”
Asher: Over there by the extra seats.
Kohana: Got it. Thanks, Asher.
Asher: Want to sit out of sight with me and watch? A free front row seat to the show?
Kohana: I’d love to - no way do I want to miss this!
