Kenzo: So….. what should I call you now? Leilani doesn’t seem to fit your new image.
Kaida: I guess not! After all, it might be a little hard to ride a bike in a sarong.

Kenzo: Guess that’s why you aren’t wearing your necklace, either.

Kaida: Oh, yes….. about that. I um…… well, I don’t know where it is, exactly. I feel terrible about losing it. You know I wore it all the time, right?

Kaida: But one day I wore to work, like always, and I swear I had it on when I went, but when I got home, it was gone!
Kenzo: Hey, no biggie, Stuff happens.

Kaida: I’ve been trying to work up the nerve to see if Dolores found it in her storeroom. That’s where I was working that day. But… after the way she yelled at you, and the rotten way she treated you… well, I was going to sneak in and look for it myself, only she’s always there, you know?

Kenzo: You think she might have found it, and kept it, even knowing how much you would miss it?
Kaida: I don’t know. She knows everything, seems like, so I guess she must have known it was from you. Oh, Kenzo, I’m so sorry…..

Kenzo: Hey. Don’t worry about it.

Kaida: You must think I’m careless, or that it didn’t mean very much to me.

Kenzo: No, I don’t think that. I don’t think that at all.
Kaida: If I were you, that’s what I’d think.

Kenzo: It’s really okay, Kaida. If you were wearing it – right now – I’d only have to ask you to take it off anyway.
Kaida: But why?

Kenzo: Here.
Kaida: What is………………………?

Kenzo: This one will always be “you,” even if I change your nickname a dozen times. Because this one goes with your real name.

Kaida: Oh! It’s a……
Kenzo: Yeah, a Little Dragon.
Kaida: It’s perfect. Thank you so much.

Kaida: Help me put it on?
Kenzo: You bet.

Kaida: Does it look okay?

Kenzo: It looks great.

Kaida: Kenzo, I…..
Kenzo: Yeah, me too.

I guess all good things really do come to an end, and that also applies to visits. Kenzo was here for quite a long time over the summer and beyond, but finally had to return home. Thanks to beamlette for allowing him (and Persephone) to visit. I know Kaida and Pete appreciated it, too!
