Creative Consequences

Kaida: That last little foray into wardrobe really backfired on me.

Eli: Things are awful quiet around here, Bro. Too quiet.
Asher: It’s never too quiet around here.
Eli: You know what I mean.

Kaida: So now I get to spend my whole weekend brushing and ironing and mending and sorting costumes ‘til I’m blue in the face. Darn Asher and his “creative consequences” anyway.

Eli: Maybe I just better have me a little look-see and find out what she’s up to. Make sure the trap door doesn’t need “adjusting” again.
Asher: I had Dolores put her to work, so she’s too busy to mess with it. Besides, she wouldn’t do the same thing twice.
Eli: Yeah, she must know I’d be on the lookout for it.

Kaida: I wonder - if I make a pest of myself with a million questions, if Dolores will let me off early? Hmmmmm. Might be worth a try…

Eli: How do you stand all her pesky questions anyway?
Asher: Huh. Used to it, I guess. Had a little brother that did the same thing.
Eli: Oh yeah – him. I remember him.

Kaida: Oh, hey this one is cool….wonder if I could try….. nope, better stay out of trouble or I’ll be slaving away here ‘til I’m thirty.

Eli: I told her she reminded me of me.
Asher: You got that right. Neither one of you knows how to sit still or stay out of trouble.
Eli: Hey, it’s entertaining anyway. Free entertainment’s nothing to sneeze at.

Kaida: This hand sewing isn’t too bad. It’s kinda fascinating seeing how they fix this stuff up so it’s easy to get in and out of fast. Real interesting.

Asher: You know Eli, I’m getting a little concerned here.
Eli: What for?
Asher: You’re way too interested in Kaida...

Kaida: I know this jacket. Sure doesn’t belong to wardrobe though, heh, heh, heh.

Eli: Nah, not me. At least not in the way you’re worried about. I’m just bored - need a new project to keep me occupied. It’s been a few weeks.
Asher: No ideas?
Eli: Nothing I feel like following up on. Guess I’m tormenting your little sidekick just for something to do.
Asher: I’d stop you, but I’m pretty sure she’s winning.

Kaida: Uh-oh, he’s got a loose button. Here I go, being nice. Mending the big dude’s jacket for him when he didn’t even ask………

Eli: Well, guess I’ll take off.
Asher: Hope you find something soon.
Eli: I’m sure I will. Hey, did you see where I left my jacket? Must have left it – there it is.

Eli: MUNCHKIN!
