Caffeine Emergency

Asher: Coffee - I need coffee!
Kaida: Hey Asher! What’s happening?
Asher: Nothing is happening around here until I get some coffee.
Kaida: Sheeeeesh, what an old grouch. Why didn’t you get your coffee today?
Asher: I did, only I think it wore off a long time ago. Damn…uh…darn it all anyway.
Kaida: I can probably help you out. There’s a shop around the corner. What’s it worth to ya?
Asher: You can sit up in the sound booth and watch the guys program the console?
Kaida: Nope, not good enough! I was doing that anyway. They even said I could help.
Asher: (wryly) Good to know who’s in charge around here. How about I drive you home later on my spare twenty minutes?
Kaida: Nah, I don’t need a ride……hey, wait a minute…. That’s it!
Asher: Oh boy, here it comes.
Kaida: Kohana’s still outside waiting for me to get her my schedule. Come on, we’ll ask her to go get your coffee.
Asher: I don’t know, Kaida….that’s a little blatant.
Kaida: Oh and your little tricks are masterpieces of subtlety? Don’t think I haven’t been noticing. Don’t think I don’t know about all those sneaky little maneuvers you’ve been pulling just to get her through the doors here. C’mon Asher, I’m the one who started it, remember?
Asher: I don’t know what you’re talking about. Can’t a guy even….???
Kaida: I’ll tell her about the photo you kept.
Asher: Geez Kaida, you got a spy network here or something? Or…wait a minute – you set me up!
Kaida: Give the guy a gold star! Duh, of course I did. And my brilliant plan worked, didn’t it?
Asher: I’m admitting nothing. And I won’t until I get my coffee. Matching wits with you is not a fair fight when my caffeine levels are critically low.
Kaida: Then let me go get Kohana. She’ll go for coffee, and when she gets back I’ll conveniently forget to meet her at the door so she has to come in and deliver it!
Asher: Arrrgh, I shouldn’t… but I do need the caffeine, and badly.
Kaida: Perfect, I’ll go send her for it.
