Beloved Brigand

Kaida: You are late.
Kenzo: Aye, but ye’ve waited for me, have ye not?

Kaida: Waited? What else had I to do but wait, while you tarried on the high seas appeasing your relentless lust for treasure? With nary a thought for the one stranded here….waiting…… endlessly waiting……
Kenzo: I thought of ye. I thought of ye day and night. And I brought baubles for my lady’s pleasure.

Kaida: Nay, ‘tis not baubles that your lady desires - they are but cold comfort in your absence. When you take your leave as you will all too soon, they will lose their luster.

Kenzo: Aw, come now, me love, and give us a kiss. ‘Tis indeed treasure I seek, but treasure such as is found on your sweet lips…
Kaida: Perhaps….. I will teach you what it is like to wait, instead…

Kenzo: Aye ye might, but ‘tis foolish to taunt a buccaneer, m’lady, for we are likely to take what we want if it be not freely given.

Kaida: Very well then. As I have no choice in the matter….

Kenzo: I would not force m’lady’s acquiescence.

Kaida: Let us cease this squander of precious time in pointless jest. Beloved Brigand, will you accept what is most willingly offered?

Kaida: How long will you stay this time?
Kenzo: A few days only. ‘Tis not long, I know.

Kaida: ‘Tis never enough.
Kenzo: We must make it enough.
