Andrea: What’s this?......

Andrea: Why, that evil witch!

***FLING***

***SPLAT***

Andrea: Oh! Sorry, I didn’t see you standing there.
Gideon: *dryly* Really. It’s not just me who gets you riled like this? So who is the target of your displeasure?

Andrea: Melisa Townsend-Adams. She’s really quite the bottom feeder, isn’t she?
Gideon: You have no idea. *reads, amused * Ah, Melisa, up to your old tricks again? *to Andrea* Don’t let it bother you.
Andrea: That’s easy for you to say. You’re not the one she’s taking the swipes at. YOU”RE not the one whose reputation is being besmirched.

Gideon: Oh come on, Andrea. Nobody with half a brain reads this trash anyway.
Andrea: They most certainly do, Gideon. And while I don’t care what people think of me for the most part, if I’m going to have a reputation, I prefer to earn it and not have it plastered on me.

Gideon: This may not be Hollywood, Andrea, but it’s still the movies. Just about any publicity is good publicity, and anyone who gets a lucky break like you did is going to have to put up with a bit of…*fights to hide his amusement*….. besmirching. Melisa just got there first.
Andrea: How nice that you can be amused at my expense. No doubt a comment like this would not offend your sensibilities, but think how my mother would feel if she read this? Or heard it from someone?

Gideon: Your mother? You’re worried about what your mother would think? Aren’t you a little old to be concerned about that?
Andrea: I’ll never be too old be concerned about my parents. Don’t you care what your family thinks?

Gideon: *after a pause* Look, I didn’t come in here to fight with you.

Gideon: I was actually going to thank you for your extra effort lately – and ask if I could buy you a drink to celebrate our most successful day of shooting so far.
Andrea: This is not a good time, Gideon.
Gideon: Some other time then.

Andrea: No….. you don’t understand….I mean it really is a bad time. I have to be someplace shortly and don’t have time for a drink this evening.

Andrea: But I would be rather disappointed if that discouraged you from asking again.
Gideon: *arching an eyebrow* Oh, really?
Andrea: *arches her own brow* Yes, really.

Gideon: Where did you get that magazine, anyway?
Andrea: Someone tucked it into my tote bag, for me to find, I assume.

Gideon: Right here in your dressing room? Well, isn’t that interesting? I happen to know someone who has a thing for sneaking into dressing rooms. I’ll have to have a talk with security. Maybe they can circulate her picture and tell everyone to be on the lookout. Let me know if anything like this happens again, all right?

Andrea: Her picture?
Gideon: Yes, her picture - if my guess is correct.
Andrea: Another old girlfriend with a grudge?
Gideon: Just let me know if you find any stray M&M’s.
