Dramadoll.com Soon to Begin its Fifth Year
Dramadoll.com is now FOUR years old...
...and the site continues to expand... although much more slowly these days. In 2010, I added only about a dozen stories, as real life intervened and demands on my time from other sources increased. I have a confession to make: I have added so many characters in 2009-2010, that I find it difficult to decide whose stories to develop, so overall I am getting less accomplished.My doll-related resolution for 2010 is to play more, and to get those story lines moving again. If you would like to help with the effort, please feel free to click the email link below and drop me a line; sometimes it seems as if no one is reading, and if no one is reading, then there is no real reason to hurry the updates... a little encouragement or a few random "howdies" would be great!

Site update February, 2010 - Eleven stories added
Site update November, 2010 - Eight stories added
Site update January 1, 2011 - One story added, page intros updated and website re-organized
With this most recent update, there weas only one story to add, but I have done a major re-organization of the entire site, in an effort to make it a little more user-friendly. The stories are now divided onto separate pages by year of publication. 2007 was such a prolific year that I have further divided it onto two pages of story links (containing approximately the first and second halves of the calendar year.) Next I will attempt to provide a "previous story" link to each story page, although with hundreds of stories on-site, that may take quite some time.

One of the nicest things I’ve discovered about living with resin ball-jointed dolls is the tremendous potential for play that comes along with them. With my first doll, I had fun dressing her in interesting fashions and taking photos of her as if she was a model. In short, I used her as a fashion doll, and that seemed about the extent of her play possibilities. Then I got a second doll and suddenly the characters began to speak to me and their intricate stories to present themselves. Over the past two and a half years, my resin “kids” have had many adventures; each one adding to the fun of the creation of character that has become my favorite creative endeavor.
You’re most welcome to look around at Dramadoll.com as long or as often as you like. Read the stories. Look at the photos. Get to know the “kids” as they share their lives, loves, and hopefully, lots of laughter with you. Take a little vacation from reality and play along…
Let me leave you with one warning about resinkind — they can be seriously addictive.
